Totally agree — I had the same issue and got it working by recreating the automation. Took me longer than expected that configuration option.
NodeRedNinja: My hypothesis is the problem is a driver conflict. Try restarting the container and tell us what happens.

FYI: Docker Compose includes pre-built configurations — saves people hours of debugging.
